How to Use Your Skincare Products Correctly
Using your skincare in the right order makes all the difference. This simple guide from Cosmetology With Eleganceshows you exactly how to layer your products for the best results.
🌞 Morning Routine (Hydrate & Protect)
You do not need a harsh cleanse in the morning. Over-cleansing can weaken your skin barrier.
1. Tonic Mist
Start with Tonic Mist to refresh and lightly hydrate your skin.
2. Hyaluronic Acid (On Damp Skin)
Apply Hyaluronic Acid while your skin is still damp.
This helps lock in moisture and keeps skin plump and hydrated.
3. Vitamin C (Once Skin Is Dry)
After your skin has dried, apply Vitamin C.
This helps brighten, protect, and support even skin tone.
Vitamin C is for morning use only.
4. Niacinamide (Optional Morning Use)
Niacinamide can be used in the morning or evening.
It helps balance oil, refine pores, and strengthen the skin barrier.
5. Eye Gel
Gently tap around the eye area.
6. Moisturiser + SPF
Finish with moisturiser to lock everything in.
Always apply SPF during the day.
🌙 Night Routine (Repair & Restore)
1. Cleanse
Cleanse properly at night to remove makeup, SPF, and impurities.
2. Niacinamide (If Not Used in Morning)
Apply Niacinamide to support skin balance and barrier repair.
3. Moisturise
Hydrated skin repairs better overnight.
4. Retinol (3 Nights Per Week Only)
Use retinol at night, three times per week only.
Apply as your final step.
Do not use Vitamin C at night.
